This year volunteer champions across the country are leading the charge to bring a fun 5 km family walk to their local communities. Join us virtually or in person and help us make strides in improving the quality of life for people living with diabetes.
When you register for Lace Up, you are committing to a fundraising mission first, and a walk second. Whether you’re joining us in-person at a community event, or virtually, your fundraising efforts directly support the work of Diabetes Canada including research, D-Camps, advocacy and education. Our Lions Club is proud to be active and engaged, with diabetes awareness and support as one of our key pillars. To show our support, we’re hosting a Lace Up walk, helping to raise both funds and awareness. Pefferlaw has an outstanding, giving community that rallies behind charities that hit home for them, in which Diabetes Canada does.
