Lace Up and Show Your Glow!

Join us for a cause close to the heart of Sherry Jones, a dedicated community champion and advocate for diabetes awareness. On October 3rd, 2024, from 5pm to 9pm, in Kitchener/Waterloo, Sherry invites you to participate in a 5Km walk to support Diabetes Canada.

Sherry's passion for this cause stems from her personal connection her daughter living with Type 1 Diabetes. She knows firsthand the challenges and hopes associated with this condition. "A cure means my daughter having a normal healthy life," Sherry emphasizes. It's a rally echoed by many families touched by diabetes.

Support and sense of community are an important part of managing life with diabetes. As Sherry puts it, "You aren't to blame for having it, and those living with diabetes should be supported and understood." This walk is a tangible way to show that support, to stand together in the fight against diabetes.

Whether you're directly affected by diabetes or simply want to show your support, lace up your shoes and join us for an evening of unity, hope, and determination. Because, as Sherry says, "We all know and love someone with diabetes, let's support them and end diabetes."
