The members, staff and leadership of the Manitoba Nurses Union is proud to support the Manitoba branch of Diabetes Canada and its marquee Lace Up event!
Nurses know diabetes affects patients in all parts of our public health care system, from hospitals to personal care homes and everywhere in between.
That’s why it is important for us to get involved in fundraising initiatives like Lace Up, which focuses funds on research, education and programming.
Our fundraising goal for this year’s event is $5,000 and we are hoping to not only meet that goal, but also exceed it.

For those who would like to participate in our event, Team MNU’s goal is 2,000 km, which is the distance between Winnipeg and Churchill, and back to Winnipeg. Please download the app to your phone, as it will keep track of your steps and is compatible with your FitBit, Apple Watch and Garmin.
