Grace was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes on her 15th birthday. I found hope and support at camp, which she says saved her life.
Grace enjoys video games, podcasting, TV & movies, reading, and walking her dog, Luna. The relentless nature of diabetes means she never gets a break, but she believes it gets easier over time.
Grace is amazed by the resilience of people living with diabetes. She has achieved better Time in Range (TIR) and A1C, though dealing with unexpected issues can be challenging. She is passionate about raising awareness and fundraising for diabetes causes.
D-Camps were crucial in helping Grace feel comfortable with who she is. Grace is modeling in the Pump Couture Fashion Show to raise awareness and support for the diabetes community.
