Vancouver Hockey School's Pro Camp is pleased to partner with NHL player Troy Stecher's TS51 Foundation in support of Diabetes Canada. Stecher's late father Peter passed away on June 21st, 2020 from complications with Diabetes. He was 65 years old.
"He was my first coach and my favourite coach," Stecher said. "He was my best friend. My dad was always hard on me as a player. He expected me to work hard. He was going to tell me the way it was, and I am thankful for that." - Sportsnet 2020.
The VHS Pro Camp brings together the top players, coaches, and trainers for 4 days on intense on and off ice training. The camp takes place August 28-31st, 2023 at Minoru Arenas in Richmond BC.
