Diabetes continues to grow in prevalence, impact quality of life, and cause complications for those living with diabetes and the people who care about them.
I lost my mom four years ago due to complications from diabetes, my grandmother lost her legs due to the disease, my dad is diabetic and I am awaiting bloodwork to determine if I am pre-diabetic for a second time.
