We are Cohen?s Crusaders ? walking to support Cohen and everyone living with Type 1 diabetes. At 6 years old, Cohen?s life was swiftly changed with a single finger poke to confirm what no one suspected. Cohen faces challenges every day that most of us never see ? constant blood sugar checks, insulin doses, pump and dexcom changes, highs and lows and the uncertainty that comes with managing a lifelong condition.
We walk because Cohen inspires us with his courage, resilience, and positive spirit. We walk to raise awareness, to fund research that moves us closer to a cure, and to ensure that every child and family living with diabetes knows they?re not alone.
Every step we take is a step toward better treatments, better technology, and a future where kids like Cohen can just be kids ? without limits.
