On April 24, 2002, my life changed forever when I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. I was just a kid then, and now, 23 years later i am still living with this disease every single day.
Type 1 Diabetes is an autoimmune condition that has no cure. It means constant monitoring, insulin injections, blood sugar checks, and the daily balancing act of keeping my body safe. It is exhausting, relentless, and often invisible to those around me.
Im sharing my story because there?s hope. With ongoing research, education, and support, we can move closer to better treatments, and one day, a cure.
That?s why I?m raising funds. Every donation big or small helps fuel critical research and provides resources for people like me who are navigating life with T1D.
I?ve been fighting this battle for 23 years, and I?ll keep fighting. But with your support, I don?t have to fight alone.
Thank you for standing with me.
