On September 7 at 12pm, I will be hosting the annual Lace Up To End Diabetes Spruce Grove Community Walk in Central Park, where anyone is welcome to join me by being active in whatever way suits them best.
I chose to Lace Up in memory of my grandfather. I want to help expand public understanding about the risk factors for diabetes, as well as help improve the quality of life for those living with diabetes. Every dollar invested in diabetes helps to fund education, support services, and diabetes research. I believe that the more people contribute to the fight to #EndDiabetes, the closer we'll get to finding a cure and building a stronger support system for those impacted by diabetes.
I also believe that an active lifestyle is extremely important for everyone, and this campaign does a wonderful job of encouraging people to be active in whatever way suits them best.
Please join me this September 7 for the Lace Up To End Diabetes Spruce Grove Community Walk! Let's End Diabetes Together!
