Type 1 Diabetes has become part of our daily lives.
This is a disease that has changed Eitan’s life forever. He is an incredible kid, who has taken on this enormous reality with strength, and courageousness. Eitan does not let the disease define him or restrict him from doing what he wants. There are rough days and nights, and times when he needs to break and take care of himself.
As as parent, all you want to do is protect your child from anything harmful and it goes with out saying I would change places with him in a millisecond. However, this not an option. I am so very proud of him and in awe of his resilience and positivity.
I am constantly thinking and researching ways to do my part in finding ways to make it easier not only for Eitan but for all who live with diabetes. The research and development of new technology has greatly improved the daily health and well being of diabetics but there is more to be done.
I am committed to running 100 km during the month of September! Let the running begin!
Thank you for your support.
