Nick's selling lemonade to send type 1 kids to camp!
Our son Nicholas was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 2, June 5, 2013. We are so very lucky to be able to attend diabetes family camp each spring to relax and chat with other families who truly get the daily grind of this life threatening disease which effects our children.
Nicholas (aged 7) has always wanted to have a lemonade stand at the end of our driveway but we are quite rural so we are lucky to have friends with storefront businesses who will let us sell within town. It's 'give what you can' to a worthy cause.
Each year type 1 kids ages 7-14 from all over Canada get to spend a week at camp with kids just like them and their parents get to turn their 3am alarms off for an entire week. Please stop by and put a smile on our 7 year olds face.
