Join me in the 21 Day Challenge to End Diabetes!
I'm proud to launch my personal 21 Day Challenge on World Diabetes Day, a date that signifies the unity of the global diabetes community in response to the diabetes epidemic. With 11 million Canadians living with diabetes or prediabetes, the Canadian Diabetes Association is rallying Canadians like you to unite in their support of the 21 Day Challenge to End Diabetes.
This means that I've committed to form a new healthy habit for 21 days in a row while raising vital funds for the Canadian Diabetes Association to help end diabetes. My personal challenge will be to focus on healthy eating and hydration. I have chosen this new healthy habit because eating nutritious meals and snacks is one of the most important things you can do for your health.
My fundraising goal fo this challenge is $5000. The average cost of sending a child with type 1 diabetes to one of our very own D-Camps is approximately $2000. My goal is to raise enough money to send at least 2 children to D-Camps in 2017, where they can learn to thrive despite the burden of a serious disease that affects them and their families 24/7.
I am personally asking you to please join me in this challenge by upporting my campaign with a generous donation!
Your support means so much, not only to me, but to those 11 million Canadians that are affected by diabetes. Together we can end diabetes.
